Iweighed Atif yesterday and he is 19lb and 12ounces!!

Atif fell asleep while I cooked dinner and Aysha was sleeping in her hiding spot. She made her own space behind the couch.

Aysha is doing Arts and crafts or as she calls it "arts and craps". This is her favorite pass time. I love watching her be creative!

Bear and baby bear spent the night with us over July 4th. He was so tired from going to see fireworks that he just passed out when we got home. So cute! The next day it was a fun day at the water park.

Vacation to Galveston

Sea gulls were everywhere and would eat right from your hand!!

It is hard to see in these pictures but along the fairy boat there were dolphins!! They were right there swimming along side the boat! We spent 5 hours to ride the fairy apparently it is very popular because we had to wait more than 2 hours to ride it each way. It was so worth the wait, we spent some really great time with amirs cousin Ali and Fawaz and his Aunt and Uncle and his cousin Sharaz's wife Maryiam and there son. We had such a great day. Beautiful memories!

Atif was so so happy at Aunt and Uncles house. He had everyone to play with.

We spent the weekend visiting Amir's Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Houston. We had so much fun! We are gonna try to get there more often to visit. I love to be close and visiting his family since his Mom and Dad are so far away it just helps us to feel connected to his side of the family. These are pictures of Ali playing with the kids in the back yard. Ali is so funny that he kept us laughing the whole weekend. He has a pet goat that he got and watching him try to catch it was hours of entertainment for the kids.

Aysha was so excited to see the beach. She has been talking about it for weeks. She just could not wait to get there and build a sand castle. It was so sweet and special to see her enjoy this for the first time. I love all the first times the look of amazement for every new discovery it is the best part of parenting. Ok so in Galveston there aren't really that many big sea shells but we did our best to find them and believe me a have a ziplock of everyone we did find. So when she couldn't find one big enough to hear the ocean I did what every parent would do and went to the nearest sovenier shop to buy one!

I love that Amir loves to play with our kids!! These are memories that we will always have. I treasure every day that we get to spend like this. The days go by so fast that I want to hold my family just like this on vacation and loving being together!

These pictures are of us in Kemha it is outside of Galveston. We had a lot of fun there. There is a great boardwalk with all kinds of rides a splash park, playground. restaurants, performers, and fireworks. It is right on the ocean so when we look over the board walk we could see a bunch of jelly fish. What a wonderful family day!!
